New hire information

Welcome to the Ardent team! If you are an eligible employee, you have access to a variety of benefits and resources. Some benefits are automatically provided by Ardent; others require you to enroll and make choices. It’s up to you to choose the benefits that best meet your needs and make the most of all that Ardent offers.

New employee checklist

  • Enroll in benefits by calling The Ardent Benefit Service Center at 855-787-0668 or logging on to the enrollment website. To log on, you will need your login name and password. Click here for instructions.

Important! You have 31 days from your date of hire to enroll, and your coverage is effective the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. If you don’t enroll by the deadline, your next opportunity to enroll will be the Annual Enrollment period in the fall (typically in November).

  • Participate in the Wellness Program by getting a free, on-site health screening. You will lower your medical premiums by participating and, depending on your results, you can earn further discounts. You’re also encouraged to complete the “Know Your NumberTM” confidential online health assessment, which will tell you whether you’re at risk for chronic health conditions and give you personalized recommendations for getting healthier.

Important! If you don’t participate in the Wellness Program, your medical premiums will be higher.

  • Attend a new employee orientation meeting. Ask your supervisor or human resources representative for your orientation schedule.
