Through our provider, Health Advocate, you have access to three unique services. All are available at no cost to you, your spouse, your dependent children, and your parents and parents-in-law:

Employee Assistance Program

Sometimes it just helps to talk. And to have someone who cares, listen.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers you and eligible family members confidential counseling services and referrals, regardless of location. You don't have to be enrolled in the benefit plans to use the EAP, and this service is provided at no cost to you.

You and eligible family members can get help with personal, family and work issues, including:

  • Grief, loss and depression
  • Relationship issues and divorce
  • Job stress, burnout and work/life balance
  • New baby, adoption and elder care
  • Financial and legal issues, retirement and identity theft
  • Addiction, eating disorders and mental illness

Your Personal Health Advocate

Need help understanding a doctor bill? Finding a specialist? Getting an appointment? Your Personal Health Advocate (PHA) will help you navigate the complexities of the health care system by cutting through the red tape, talking to your doctors and insurance company, and getting to the heart of your issue—fast.

PHAs are typically registered nurses (supported by medical directors) and benefits and claims specialists. They’ll help you:

  • Find the right doctors, hospitals and other providers.
  • Schedule tests and appointments.
  • Get second opinions.
  • Understand benefits coverage and health conditions.
  • Research the latest treatments.
  • Resolve billing and claims issues.
  • Locate elder care services.
  • Make informed decisions.

Parent Resource Program

Ardent Health Services is proud to support The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI), a nationally recognized leader in youth suicide awareness and prevention programs. JFI offers this Parent Resource Program to provide information, tools and resources to help you identify at-risk youth and know how to assist them in getting help before a tragedy occurs. Prevention begins with education.
